JOINT INFLAMMATION is a very painful, with multiple sets of conditions (100), progressively leading to joint damage, deformity and loss of mobility. Swelling of extremity joints is the hallmark of the syndrome. Chronic pain, disability and death are unfortunate results.

Joint problems have a estimated probability of 1 – 2%. Prevalence increases with age, approaching 5% in women over age 55. The average annual incidence in the United States is about 70 per 100,000 annually. Rheumatoid arthritis occurs two to three times more in women than in men. Although rheumatoid arthritis may present at any age, patients most commonly are first affected in the third to sixth decades.

Joint inflammation, collectively affect nearly 46 million adults and 300,000 children in the U.S. It is not selective. The condition can happen to anyone. All arthritic conditions impact the musculoskeletal system and specifically the joints – where two or more bones meet.

Joint inflammation problems include:

  • pain
  • stiffness
  • damage to joint cartilage (the tough, smooth tissue that covers the ends of the bones, enabling them to glide against one another) and surrounding structures.

HOW DO WE GET JOINT INFLAMMATION?

This condition involves obstruction of the blood due to hot-damp, drying and/or drying characteristics. The condition includes:

  • cold or hot and painful joints
  • difficulty in flexing and extending the joints
  • aversion to cold or hot with attraction to the opposite condition
  • In some cases the limbs and joints will be aching, numb, painful
  • overall physical body feels heavy.
  • tongue is pale or the opposite

There are graduating arthritic conditions where the site of pain and deformity are more intense, with heat or cold predominating, however, the primary appraoch is to get the obstruction to move. Health is re-established by countering imbalanced internal srtates of wind-cold/hot-damp/dry and altering external situations contributing to obstruction. Very important is the emotional status and its contribution, whether direct or indirect, to the blockage.

JOINT INFLAMMATION: FOOD THERAPY  & HERBAL HERBS

“We are what we eat.” Most of us would agree that most conditions of imbalance are determined by what we put in our mouth. We unkowingly create imbalances by not being aware of how critical this area is, especially in the latter years. When we find out the supplements and foods weakens our essence and immunity then it would behove us to learn our constitution and which food that nourish balance. Below, you can begin to choose foods that deliver balance for this obstructive condition:

Foods That Benefit & Foods To Avoid

Foods to Counter Joint Pain: Asparagus, Cabbage (poultice & ingestion), Celery, Cod, Cherry, Chives, Extra Virgin Olive Oil, Garlic, Ginger, Goats milk, Grape, Kelp, Oranges, Papaya, Pineapple (Bromelain), Pumpkin Seeds, Royal Jelly, Scallions, Sesame oll, Spelt, Spirulina, Soy products, Strawberry, Sprouts (mung, red clover, radish, mustard, lentil, adzuki, garbanzo, pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds), Tumeric, Water melon, Barley products, Wheat grass products, Alfalfa products (tablets, tea), Chlorophyll foods, Almonds (5-6 dy.),

Foods to Avoid: Excess meat (some fish is best), Excess protein, Intoxicants (alcohol, coffee, tobacco, marijuana, etc.), refined sugar and other sweets, Oxalic acid foods (rhubarb, cranberry, plum, chard, beet greens, spinach), Solanine foods (Nightshade family veggies: tomato, eggplant, bell pepper, potato, if sensitive), Dairy (cow’s milk & bi-products), Nuts, Nut butters, oil-rich seeds,

HERB FORMULAS FOR PAIN   Formulas are created and rendered, taking into consideration, a person’s constitution, environment, life energy (qi), lifestyle and emotional status to name a few concerns. Traditional Chinese Herbs and medicine focuses on bringing all these areas into balance. The chief focus is to provide a formula that specifically targets the painful site, resolves the underlying imbalance in the body without inciting more physical maladies.

Additionally, the quality of the herbs are not the same. If lesser quality is contained in a formula then the results will not hold up as indicated in research findings. While it may sound impressive to make marketing statements that a formula containing an herb is beneficial it is not enough. The quality of herb is utmost. Ginseng alone has more than 6 grades and each level provides a different result. Quality, alone, can determine whether the formula works or not. A seasoned herbologist does not skimp in this area, while many commercial manufacturing operations prefer profit when dealing with innocent distributers, who sell to wholesalers, retailers and then to you the consumer. The continuation of this American practice engenders herbology and products with a disreputable name. Employing herbal deficiency practices will gradually wear away customer trust so when true herbologists offer their services the challenge for customers to believe in our craft is hard.

JOINT INFLAMMATION takes time to develop and when the underlying cause is acknowleged then its possible to resolve rapidly. According to Traditional Chinese herbs and medicine, the primary problem underlying arthritis is obstruction with painful results. With varying degrees, there is an exhaustion of both the Liver and Kidneys and insufficiency of the physical energy (qi).

There is a balance between industries and common every day folk across all walks and aspects of life. There is no doubt about it, big corporations have become very powerful. They have developed influence in the political arena as part of their power structures.

Therefore, you have an industry that manufactures drugs. Maybe, as rumour has it, they have wrapped their arms around a certain government regulatory agency. Who knows? With this power, they can spend money on research and get ‘approved’ by this regulatory agency. Then they can market their prescription medications for outrageous prices.

Yet, the natural remedies that currently exist, such as herbal remedies for add, have no such champion with big purse strings. In fact, many of the big prescription drug medications are nothing more than concentrated, synthetic and slightly different copies of compounds that naturally exist in nature.

So, therefore, regular remedies, like herbal remedies, that grow in the forest, desert or perhaps even in one’s backyard can’t get the stamp of approval from this unnamed government agency, as a substance that is proven to have a positive effect on health.

It’s rather funny when you think about it. But then, nature was there before any government and nature will be there after. Interesting isn’t it? Nature doesn’t seem to require government approval.

But we spoke of a balance a few moments ago. The power definitely seems to rest on one side of the equation. But what is happening on the other side? Alternative healers, old books, and folk wisdom passed down through the ages are still out there and from them, many people learn to apply natural healing methods (that don’t have that big stamp of approval from an authoritarian agency) to solve their health problems. Because the costs of getting ‘official’ treatment and officially approved prescription meds now make the cost of getting said treatment beyond the reach of many.

In other cases, some people just know about simple things that work and they seem to work better, cost less and cause less trauma to the human body when implemented than the results derived from going through ‘official’ channels. If you are a person who doesn’t have unlimited wealth, what way are you likely to go?

Next, learn more about: asthma natural remedies and others as well!

There are various arthritis relief medications available that can help you manage your pain and enjoy your life even if you’re suffering from arthritis. However you need to know what you’re doing before you start popping pills, so the first thing to do is go to see your health care provider before beginning to take arthritis pain medication. Prolonged intake of most pain killers can cause negative effects in a person, so it’s in your best interests that you reduce the use of pain-relievers for arthritis relief as much as possible.

NSAID pain killers are good for various types of arthritis, which is why they are suggested by most doctors. If your arthritis is only mild to moderate you should be able to get relief through Aleve or aspirin. This can be of great help to you if you do not suffer from severe arthritis pain all the time.

As well, a multitude of topical creams and lotions are available for the treatment of arthritis pain, and are especially helpful for osteoarthritis treatment. This type of arthritis treatment works by going through the skin into the joints in order to provide you some relief from your pain. If you have just mild to moderate arthritis you can make use of an over the counter topical cream like Ben Gay, for which no prescription is needed. You can apply the creams a few times a day as needed, unlike oral pain meds. In addition, topical creams will offer you quick relief and might generally be utilized as a supplement to oral medications for added effectiveness. However it’s critical to pay a visit to your medical provider prior to combining any medications.

Corticosteroids are another form of arthritis pain medication that alleviates inflammation and regulates the patient’s immune system. These drugs can be administered through the mouth or in shot form. Or your physician might give you Methotrexate, even though this is a less widely used option than are the other two. This medication may be prescribed by your doctor, but usually only as a last resort when all other options have been tried.

You should speak to your doctor before you take any non-prescription arthritis medication for pain relief. There are some individuals who, because of liver issues, cannot take prescription or non-prescription pain medicine. If you’re taking other medicine, this can cause other health problems if they don’t react well. Your doctor can provide you valuable advice in determining how to handle your pain.
